Who created My Peaceful Mind?

Hello and Welcome to My Peaceful Mind!

Starting off, I would like to introduce myself! My name is Bree, I am a 25-year-old woman who has struggled with anxiety and depression my entire life. I went through a lot of trauma as a child and as a result, suffered from mental illness.

On this blog, I will be telling my stories of trauma and encouraging you to talk about yours. I learned it is good to let these things out. Sometimes getting it out of your head helps it not be so heavy. Also Included will be case studies, practical tips, and much more.

I created this blog to help others who want to be on the same journey. The journey of healing, the path of less resistance. We will be going deep into the meaning behind everything and ways to help you every day. Every day we struggle with our mental illnesses. I know a lot of us don't say a word about it, just keep it inside. Let this be a sign, you need to let it out.

One of my biggest goals in creating this blog is to bring people together. I strongly believe we can help each other heal and grow. I created a Facebook group to help our community stay connected. Community is extremely important and can be a powerful resource!

This blog consists of my stories, other's stories, understanding mental illness, understanding why, and learning practical steps towards your goals of healing. I will not stop until this blog is jam-packed and full of information for anyone to have access to for free!

The story behind everything, why am I doing this? Why would I put so much of my time and effort into this blog? Well, in later blogs you will learn more about me and my story. However, you must know I struggled severely with my mental illness. I had no resources and no support group. I felt helpless, but over time I have learned to heal myself. Now I feel I must share with others how I did it, and how I am taking steps every day to help with my anxiety and depression. If I can do it, so can you!

Follow along and join us on this path together. We welcome you with open arms and smiles on our faces. No judgment, no pressure, no drama. Just My Peaceful Mind!
